County-level Estimates of Carbon Dioxide Release from Livestock, 2000-2008

These data represent carbon dioxide release by livestock in the United States. Emissions are based on livestock population data from the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service and the Census of Agriculture. Livestock in this analysis include dairy cows, non-dairy cows, swine, poultry, sheep, goats, and horses.
