Global Surface Ocean Alkalinity Climatology ODV* Collection
*ODV-Ocean Data View software was written by R. Schlitzer, Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany

Global Surface Ocean Alkalinity Climatology ODV collection was created by R. Schlitzer for the Ocean Data View users. This collection consists of gridded data, including latitude, longitude, sea surface temperature(SST, Jan-Dec), sea surface salinity(SSS, Jan-Dec), calculated total alkalinity from January through December (TA, Jan-Dec).

If you do not have the ODV multi-platform software you can copy one from the Ocean Data View software web site. Use the ODV web site instructions to download the ODV program.

ODV is a software package for the interactive exploration and visualization of oceanographic and other geo-referenced profile or sequence data. ODV runs on Windows (9x, Me, NT, 2000, XP), UNIX (Solaris, Irix), Linux and Mac OS-X systems. The data and configuration files are platform-independent and can be exchanged between different systems (Schlitzer, R. 2007. Ocean Data View, http://odv.awi.de/).
