The sampling site at Ny-Alesund, Svalbard, is operated in cooperation with the Institute of Applied Environmental Research, Stockholm University. The NOAA/CMDL flask data from Ny-Alesund show an increase in the annual mixing ratio from 361.58 parts per million (ppm) in 1995 to 374.35 ppm in 2002.
