The monitoring site at Ragged Point, Barbados is operated with the help of P.G. Simmons of International Science Consultants. Annual atmospheric CO mixing ratios at Ragged Point have risen from 351.6 parts per million (ppm) in 1988 to 356.0 ppm in 1992. The record from Ragged Point exhibits a seasonal cycle with the yearly minimum occurring in September or October and yearly maximum measured during April or May.
