Atmospheric carbon dioxide records from sites in the
NOAA/CMDL air
sampling network
TAE-AHN PENINSULA
Trends
The sampling site at Tae-ahn Peninsula, South Korea, is operated in
cooperation with the Korean National University of Education. The
first NOAA/CMDL flask air samples from Tae-ahn were collected in
late 1990. The annual atmospheric CO2 mixing ratio at Tae-ahn
Peninsula rose from 359.8 parts per million (ppm) in 1991 to
360.6 ppm in 1992; the growth rate is comparable to those seen at
other monitoring sites around the world for the same period.
